Founded in 2010, We The People Law Group, as plaintiff bar counsel, Mr. Rhee specializes in prosecuting cases relating to corporate crimes in antitrust, securities & commodity fraud, accounting irregularities and mass torts for civil redress of damages recovery.
Mr. Rhee focus his practices on class actions, and, mass torts to represent the victimized Korean people and Korean corporates in various overseas courts.
Practice & Background
Mr. Rhee mainly represents victims at US Courts by various foreign injury claims as plaintiff bars. He has represented Korean clients before U.S. District Courts, U.S. International Trade Commission, U.S. BIS, Immigration Services, Customs and Border Protection.
Mr. Rhee received his Bachelor of Economics degree from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and his Master of Laws degree from the same HUFS. After graduation, he served ROKA as a specially commissioned military officer. Mr. Rhee started his first working career as an investment banker at Koomin Investment Trust. During his tenure, he passed Bar Exam and was admitted to practice laws in the U.S. As a lawyer, his first career was to serve as a court listed Criminal Defense Attorney at Santa Cruz Superior Court in the State of Arizona. On June 2006, Mr. Rhee returned to Korea as General Counsel for Seoul Semiconductor Co. Ltd., where he successfully completed his work duty and finally achieved Seoul Semiconductor’s interests through global litigations. Since the initiation of We The People Law Group on June 2010, Mr. Rhee has been working to protect the victimized Korean people and Korean corporates at overseas courts.
